At Yim Tea Co, we love finding unique ways people use Thai Tea for their own delicious creations. While we typically see beautiful milk and iced thai teas, the beer masters over at Fine Creek Brewery had a different kind of brew in mind. Made with our All Natural Thai Tea, their popular Tiger Yum Yum beer is a creation that strikes a balance between the sweetness of Thai Tea combined with the dark malt flavors of a stout. In the brewers’ own words:
The rich character of this beer showcases its most unique ingredient, Thai Tea, displaying earthy tea alongside sweet vanilla. These notes are backed up by layers of malty chocolate and dark roasted grain. The mouthfeel highlights the addition of lactose, it is creamy and full bodied with minimal bitterness and a semi-sweet finish.
Since introducing the delicious milk tea inspired beer, the Thai Tea concoction has been a hit for the many visitors that frequent Fine Creek and even inspired the brewmasters to create a barrel-aged version of it as well.
This is a beer that we have kept in heavy rotation since our first day. A very easy drinking stout; so much so that even non stout lovers truly enjoy this beer, and keep coming back for it. We loved this beer so much that we did a Whiskey Barrel Aged Imperial version of it as well.
